i can always find my history through the internet. through strangers. through another point of removal. sigh. i dont have to like it... who says my art has to be constructive. i want to show im tired and frustrated i mean hello.... look at this situation. whatever. yeah im just mad at my parents lol. might as well make my own story up. .... no. this is my story. this is what i want to tell. i present to you... Janette Keys, the self proclaimed Gringa Dominicana, born in Pittsburg. her website is one of the largest sources of my heritage and tradition.
i wonder what her story is
^ love music wish i could attend carnaval. i think this should be a sound project. /////i wanna walk as if roba la gallina was passing me by
if i could make a carnaval costume out of plantain skins i would. not so much a costume for celebratory purposes but more of a suit for protection and healing from pain
maybe some kind of net garment that the skins (dry baked--what sound would they make?) are then attached to --reference/ structure inspo->
